Identity
Mass spectrometry confirming observed molecular weight against the theoretical mass for the sequence. Purity without identity tells you nothing.
Heavy metals
Screening for elemental contamination carried through from synthesis and handling. Purity-only documentation does not cover this.
Bacterial endotoxin
Limulus amoebocyte lysate assay for endotoxin load. Reported per lot alongside the purity and identity data.
